Questionnaire

From a questionnaire it would seem that the average length of membership is 14 years.

Reasons for joining are - to meet like-minded people; new gay friends; husband told him to; a wider social circle; was CHE member so moved over; cheap entry to AGG night club.  
Things members like or value about the group are friendships, social contact, meeting other members, friendly atmosphere, community of gay men, good cross-section of people and characters, good conversation, different ideas for meetings, the people.

Occupations range from surveyor, civil servant, nurse, yoga teacher, IT consultant, quite a few are retired.

Hobbies/interests - walking, opera and theatre, reading, gardening, fine food, travel, computers and technology, community, music, history, sport, quizzes, National Trust, architecture, meals out, socialising, cooking, coin/stamp collecting, transport, antiques, sunny holidays, motoring.
